After a night in Puerto Madryn (SAVY) and a quick fuel stop in Bahia Blanca (SAZB), I returned to San Fernando (SADF) today, marking the end of the second phase of my incredible journey. With 35 hours flying around Patagonia, I’m filled with unforgettable experiences, memories, and reflections. Connecting with the natural wonders of Argentina, and my roots has been a truly heartwarming experience. This adventure has also led me to reconnect with myself, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.
Rediscovering Patagonia’s Atlantic Coast
Yesterday, I departed Rio Gallegos and decided to return along Patagonia’s stunning Atlantic coast. While it’s challenging to surpass the majesty of the mountains and glaciers, I was pleasantly surprised by the coast’s breathtaking landscapes, picturesque bays, and deep blue skies. The Peninsula Valdes was a highlight, showcasing the region’s unique beauty.

Navigating Challenges and Gratitude
This morning, I woke up early to arrive in San Fernando before a planned dinner with family. A quick fuel stop in Bahia Blanca was necessary, as Madryn didn’t have the required fuel type. Upon arrival, I skillfully dodged a storm, leveraging my newly acquired experience of flying in winds of over 45 knots.

Reflections and Appreciation
As I reflect on the many hours of flight time, the incredible places I’ve visited, and the people I’ve met, I’m filled with gratitude. Your messages of support and encouragement have meant the world to me. Sharing this adventure with all of you has been humbling and inspiring. Thank you for reading and following along!
Next Steps
After a well-deserved week of rest, I’ll resume my journey back to California next Friday. Until then, I bid you farewell. Stay tuned for the next chapter in my adventure!
